WE OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED ON THE 1ST OF FEBRUARY 2020
Imizumbe officially opened its doors to the public on the 1st of February 2020. We hosted 3 events inviting close community members, NGOs and local businesses.

The official launch of the Imizumbe Conference Centre spun over 3 events;
· A Neighbourhood High Tea on Sunday 26 January 2020
· An NGO Launch on Thursday, 30 January 2020
· Members of the Business Sector were invited to attend on Friday, 31 January 2020.
The events were well-attended, and guests were fascinated and intrigued with the venues and facilities open for viewing. The NGO guest list included delegates such as Mr Eric Apelgren, CEO of international & Governmental Relations, eThekwini Municipality, Mr Tom Butterworth from the Blue Roof and Sr Renette Roskruge from Wentworth Hospital.
The Business Sector delegation included, Daniel and Anette Snyman from Abafaz Construction, Lorraine Ogle Davies and Dorothy Maharaj from Durban South Women in Business Association and Reginald Rnyandeni from Fullinput.
The feedback received from guests ranged as follows, “This is a great, compact venue for small groups or teams”. “The venues are well-equipped and impressively laid out”. “Imizumbe Conference Centre is modern, functional and the furniture and fittings enhances the atmosphere of a professional training venue”.
